One Monthly Goal April Finish Linkup

Ready to link up your April finishes?
Don't panic - this link-up is open until April 30 at 11:55 pm ET.

Want to see everyone's goals for the month - check out the April goal page!

My goal for April was to quilt at least half of the clamshells, each with a different motif.  I ended up modifying that goal slightly and went for a different motif in each color (i.e. shade of blue).  Roughly 2/3 of the clamshells are quilted so I met my goal.  You can read more about the quilt here.

Now it's your turn to link up!  Please add a link to this OMG post so others can follow where you are linking.   Let's make that easy -  just paste this into your post:

  2. Good idea about changing your goal slightly. I suspect as you started to quilt, your new idea emerged. Run the experiment and see what happens is exactly what you did. I look forward to your completion so I can see how the textures work out. have a good week.

  3. Hi Patty! Great job on your clam shells. I love how you chose the different quilting designs. It will be a fun finish next month! Thanks for the linky party and the incentive - I really needed it this month (and next, too). {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

  4. I like the effect of one FMQ pattern per shade. And a good way to practise the different motifs, too.

  9. I like the different motifs in each colour clamshell. Changing your mind on the motifs was a good idea; a different on in each clam shell was rather ambitious!
