Welcome to July! There were 90 people who joined the link up last month - let's see what this month brings.
We have wonderful sponsors this month - three (3) winners will be randomly chosen from those that link up in both the goal and the finish event!
Fat Quarter Shop offers a tremendous selection of fabric, notions, books and just about anything you will need for your project. Consider their Sew Sampler box to receive a monthly surprise delivery of fabric and fun. Fat Quarter Shop is offering a $25 gift certificate to one lucky participant.
Quiltfolk is the magazine for quilters, by quilters, with about 180 pages of inspirational stories and stunning photography. Featuring four new locations each year, it’s like taking a vacation with your favorite quilt friends without ever leaving home! One lucky winner will win a years subscription!
My goal for July is to finish adding the hand quilting highlights to my Carnival quilt and add a faced binding. I've had this quilt in the 'almost finished' stage for months and it is time to get it done!
Now it's your turn to link up!
Make sure you visit the One Monthly Goal event page for the specific requirements for links and social tags. Your blog post (or Flickr post) must contain a photo of your project, a clearly stated goal and a link back to Elm Street Quilts. Your Instagram post must include a photo of your project, a clearly stated goal and the tag #onemonthlygoal. (Entries which don't contain the required information may be disqualified.)
And remember, to be eligible for the prize(s) by random drawing you must linkup at both the goal setting and the accomplishment linkup in a given month. (The One Monthly Goal accomplishment linkup will be available on July 25.)
Make sure you add a link to this OMG post so others can find the OMG link-up from your blog. Let's make that easy - just paste this into your post:
Have a wonderful day! Patty
I love your carnival quilt. The colours remind me of fiesta pottery, but then more subdued, and the quilting looks like thickly applied oil paint. It's difficult to believe this is a photo of fabric!
ReplyDeleteHi Patty! Good luck with finishing your goal for this month. I have a few quilts that have stalled out and need the push from the OMG goal setting. Thank you for the linky party. ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteYour Carnival quilt is so striking--hope you can get it finished!
ReplyDeleteOh, Patty -- Carnival is a wonderful design!
ReplyDeleteI love the way the colours play in this quilt. I look forward to seeing which technique you use for the faced binding as there are so many "how tos" out there.
ReplyDeleteI see lots to go see this month!
ReplyDeleteI love the quilt you're working on, Patty. Great colors!
ReplyDeleteThe Carnival quilt is excellent, I look forward to seeing what you've done at the end of this month.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on meeting your goal Patty! It is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour Carnival quilt is looking amazing; I can't wait to see what those extra hand quilting details are that you'll be adding! This one reminds me of those old LP records, or of dinner plates with chop sticks. It's a really yummy color palette, too. Maybe I'm just getting hungry for lunch... ;-)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your goal. I look forward to seeing it when you've added the additional quilting.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your July OMG.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about your Carnival quilt! The quilting provides so much texture and accentuates the curves.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog. Thanks for hosting a fun linky party.
