One Monthly Goal July Finish Link-up

Ready to link up your July finishes?
Don't panic - this link-up is open until July 31 at 11:55 pm ET.

My goal for July was to finish the hand quilting on my Carnival quilt.  Quilt is done and I love it!  You can see more photos here.

Now it is your turn to link-up!

There will be three winners this month - Fat Quarter Shop is offering a $25 gift certificate, Aurifil will be sending a thread pack to one lucky winner, and Quiltfolk  is offering a one year subscription to their magazine!

Congratulations to Edith, Rose, and Karen - our lucky winners for July! (updated 8/4)

  1. Congrats on your finish! I just love the way you quilted it.

  2. Hi Patty! What a beautiful finish. I love the way you quilted it and congrats on completing your monthly goal. Thank you for the link up. ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. It's a stunner! The quilting is divine and those little pops of hand stitching just make it extra special.

  4. The texture you have created is fantastic!!

  5. I love this design, and the quilting is beautiful.

  6. Oh wow your quilt is fabulous! Well done

  7. Congrats on your finish. This quilt is the total package of color, design, and texture. I love the edge finish. The quilting really makes it! Awesome!!!

  8. At the beginning of the month I couldn't imagine what more you could add to the lovely quilt and wow, I just love your embellishment with the hand quilting.

  9. Love the carnival quilt. Makes me want some cotton candy! ☺☺☺

  10. Congrats on the finish. The quilting is definitely pretty cool, but boy what a lot of stitching there is!

  11. Carnival looks amazing, Patty -- I can see why it's your new favorite! I'm really struck by how much your hand stitched embellishment elevates the impact of the piece as a whole, and I'm tucking that away in the back of my brain. I want to try adding some hand quilting to a mostly machine quilted quilt, too, now that I've seen how successfully yours turned out!

  12. Your modern Carnival quilt is fantastic! Love the quilting and the added hand stitching.

  13. Oh my! I let July slip right by. I had other things to make that took longer. I did complete one of 3. The other 2 are sitting on my table waiting to be finished. Hopefully they won't be there long!

  14. Congratulations! That does evoke the feeling of a carnival!

Thanks for visiting Elm Street Quilts. Looking forward to hearing from you!
