Happy mail again! All the blocks have arrived from my @unscriptedquiltsbee bee mates. Aren't they just wonderful?!!
This is my first experience with being part of a bee. I've enjoyed the making of blocks monthly along with the sending out the prompt and receiving all the happy mail. My month was June and my prompt was Balance and bee members were sent a color palette and a FQ of Painter's Palette Blackberry for the background.
At this point, the quilt top is actually assembled and quilting is underway. I can't wait to share once the quilt is complete!
Oh, the blocks are fantastic. Having a uniform background really pulls them all together. That's awesome that you are already quilting it; I look forward to seeing the finish!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic group project! I like your color selection - the use of blackberry is striking and unique - and the theme you selected. Balance has so many opportunities for interpretation. I'm happy for you to be digging into this project - embracing it's possibilities.
