Bag It

Congratulations to our lucky participants from the Bag It 2017 event - see them here!

Bag It 2017 has started - see the kickoff post. The event runs through Friday, December 15.

During the event time period, participants are encouraged to make bags and share via their blog, in link-ups or share in the Elm Street Quilts Facebook Group page.

To enter, you can make and share a bag from ANY PATTERN or TUTORIAL. For this event, we will define a bag as a container made of fabric that you can put something inside.

Extra credit will be given to bags from patterns or tutorials from our featured designers - byAnnieSew SweetnessSew DementedFat Quarter Gypsy and Elm Street Quilts.  Prizes will be awarded randomly to participants.  The sponsors are awesome - keep reading to learn more!

Make sure you read the Bag It Participant Guidelines for more information.

Want regular reminders about the event?  Sign up for notifications about Bag It!

When you are ready to share on Instagram or from your blog, link-up a photo to claim your Bag It Entry

  • Photos linked from Instagram must contain the tag #elmstreetquiltsBagIt
  • Photos linked from a blog post must contain a link back to Elm Street Quilts.

Want to share and enter from Facebook?  Join the Elm Street Quilts Facebook QAL group and then record your entry via the Bag It Facebook Entry Form

  • (Why the form?  Winners are notified via email and the form collects your email address and makes things WAY easier for me to randomly select winners.)
