Treasure Trove Block

Welcome to week 1 of the Fat Quarter Shop Jolly Bar 3 Tablerunner QAL!  I'm very excited to be quilting along with other bloggers.   You can download the pattern for this block and all future blocks from here.

The table runner can be made with a single jolly bar (pre-cut which measures 5'' x 10'') and some background fabric.  I decided to use this yummy layer cake - Quotation by Moda - for mine!

The first block is called Treasure Trove and is the largest block of the QAL.  Those half-square triangles were a good excuse for bringing out my Bloc-Loc HST ruler!
