One Monthly Goal April Link-up

Welcome to April!  There were 101 people who joined the link up last month - let's see what this month brings.

New to One Monthly Goal?  Welcome!  To join, share a photo of your project, some words about what you want to accomplish in a blog post, an Instagram post (tutorial) or a post on Flickr and add that photo to the link-up.  Return at the end of the month and share your results.  You can read about the event and the rules on the main event page.

We have wonderful sponsors this month - three (3) winners will be randomly chosen from those that link up in both the goal and the finish event!

Fat Quarter Shop offers a tremendous selection of fabric, notions, books and just about anything you will need for your project. Consider their Sew Sampler box to receive a monthly surprise delivery of fabric and fun.  Fat Quarter Shop is offering a $25 gift certificate to one lucky participant.

Aurifil is home to a beautiful rainbow of thread in all weights, perfect for any of your sewing and quilting needs.  My favorite product is the designer collection boxes which coordinate with various fabric lines!  Aurifil will be mailing a thread pack to one lucky winner!

Quiltfolk is the magazine for quilters, by quilters, with about 180 pages of inspirational stories and stunning photography. Featuring four new locations each year, it’s like taking a vacation with your favorite quilt friends without ever leaving home!  One lucky winner will win a copy of the latest issue (April) plus a years subscription!

Aren't these just terrific sponsors?

My goal for April is to quilt my circles quilt.

Make sure you visit the One Monthly Goal event page for the specific requirements for links and social tags.  Your blog post (or Flickr post) must contain a photo of your project, a clearly stated goal and a link back to Elm Street Quilts.  Your Instagram post must include a photo of your project, a clearly stated goal and the tag #onemonthlygoal.  (Entries which don't contain the required information may be disqualified.)

And remember, to be eligible for the prize(s) by random drawing you must linkup at both the goal setting and the accomplishment linkup in a given month.   (The One Monthly Goal accomplishment linkup will be available on April 24.)

Make sure you add a link to this OMG post so others can find the OMG link-up from your blog.  Let's make that easy -  just paste this into your post:

Thanks for linking up!

Have a wonderful day! Patty

  1. Circles are something that I have my "one day list" and now might be the time to try them. Thanks for the inspiration.

  2. I love your Drunkard's path layout. I always find deciding on a quilting style difficult, so I'm really interested to see what you decide on here.

  3. Have fun quilting your circles. My Quilty 365 circles are on my agenda to continue working on (hand quilting). They are taking forever.

  4. Oh wow! That is one great looking quilt! Fun fabrics and layout! I hope you have a good month!

  5. Good luck with your OMG for the month. It's such a colorful and fun project. Happy stitching and stay well.

  6. Circles are not anything I've tried yet, but as others, they are on my want to do list.
I am picking my 5 and dime with yo-yo's to finish this month. Way past time to get it finished....especially after it hung on the design wall for 4 years hehe.

  7. That circles quilt is lovely. Can't wait to see it quilted!

  8. OOOOOOOooooooh I love your circles quilt. Enjoy your month of quilting. I look forward to seeing your progress.

  9. There is something so fun and attractive with circle quilts! Love how your's already looks!

  10. Hi Patty! I hope I'm not double commenting since my first one didn't show up. Your circle quilt top is just gorgeous. I cannot wait to see how you quilt this. I am so inspired by the pattern alone. Thank you for the link up party. ~smile~ Roseanne

  11. The Circles quilt is gorgeous, I can't believe the amount of quilting you have on the go and complete, you are amazing.

  12. Wow, what an amazing quilt! Just realised I forgot to link up for April... one day late. I must admit it is hard to remember which day it is at the moment!
Hope you are keeping well and safe

Thanks for visiting Elm Street Quilts. Looking forward to hearing from you!
