Ready to link up your August finishes?
Don't panic - this link-up is open until August 31 at 11:55 pm ET.
My goal for August was to assemble my HRTs into my 16" blocks. I got that done plus the whole quilt top assembled. (Read more on this post.)
There will be three winners this month - Fat Quarter Shop is offering a $25 gift certificate, Make Modern Magazine is offering a 6 month subscription to their digital magazine and Elizabeth Hartman is offering one lucky winner an awesome prize - a copy of five of her fabulous patterns - Delightful Desert, Lisa the Unicorn, Greenhouse, Swan Island, and Arctic Feathers .
Visit the One Monthly Goal event page for the specific requirements for links and social tags.
And remember, to be eligible for the prize(s) by random drawing you must linkup at both the goal setting and the accomplishment linkup in a given month. (August Goal Setting Link-up.)
Make sure you add a link to this OMG post so others can follow where you are linking. Let's make that easy - just paste this into your post:

ReplyDeleteYour half rectangles look wonderful all together in the quilt. The wind in the sail(!) is pretty impressive too!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Great color combo
ReplyDeleteYour quilt looks great, my list of blocks to try out gets longer and longer and longer ....... thank your for keeping us on track, am learning with each new project.

ReplyDeleteYay -- I was finally able to post my finish. (The last two months I was traveling when the "finish" link up was open.) Such fun to see all the projects posted.
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt! And I'm glad you not only got the blocks done but also the quilt! Thank you for the link up, it keeps me focused on what I need to get done! It's my first month and I will definitely be back next month!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! Your top looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Germany, Rike
Love your quilt top so much I've decided to use my 4.5 inch scraps and Tric Rec ruler and make the units each month as a Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Congrats on your finish and thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly made great progress on this one and it is amazing. All those half rectangle triangles. My goodness. Great scrap buster it would be.
ReplyDeleteFantastic job on your quilt top! A lot of work in that project already!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt top looks fabulous! Congratulations on finishing. I want to make a quilt with HRT, maybe during the winter. I fell one seam short of my goal, so don't pick me randomly. =)
ReplyDeleteI love you HRT quilt top and read your tutorial with interest. I have tried making HRTs and ran into the problem of continuously making them the wrong direction, so appreciate seeing how you managed that.
ReplyDeleteAlso, thank you for hosting this really motivating link-up. I rarely get to post in the finished link-up, but have given myself the new goal of trying to actually finish what I start and I appreciate the extra accountability of the OMG!
Congratulations on completing your OMG for August. It's such a fun and colorful quilt.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt top looks fantastic. Congrats on getting it all sewn up :)
