One Monthly Goal - May link-up

Welcome to May!

New to One Monthly Goal?  Welcome!  You can read about the event and the rules on the main event page.

Sign up to receive email notifications when the One Monthly Goal linkup is open.  Think of it as a helpful reminder!
My goal for May is make a wall hanging or maybe a table runner from my bock from the American Made Brand Our Land QAL.  I downsized the blocks from the original QAL so these blocks are 6 1/2 ''.  You can find the patterns for each of the blocks here.

We have three great sponsors for May and there  will be three (3) winners this month!

Fat Quarter Shop, one of my blog sponsors, offers a tremendous selection of fabric.  Take a minute to check out their 2017 Designer Mystery QAL.  Fat Quarter Shop is always very generous with their fabric kits so you will have plenty of extra fabric for your stash (or make some extra blocks!)  Fat Quarter Shop offers fabric from many different manufacturers and you can find anything you are looking for there!  Fat Quarter Shop is offering a gift certificate to one lucky participant.

Green Fairy Quilts is a wonderful online quilt store that offers precuts, patterns and notions at prices that just can't be beat.  They are my source for precuts and thread - shipping is fast and the selection is wonderful!   Make sure you sign up for their newsletter and check out Judi's amazing quilting on herblog.  Green Fairy Quilts is offering a $15 gift certificate to one lucky participant!

I'm excited to introduce Lynn Rinehart & Pam Cobb of The Stitch TV Show  as our designer sponsors for May. The Stitch TV Show is an online quilting talk show. Join friends Lynn and Pam as they chat about current topics in the quilting world, techniques to improve your own projects, and fun stories about their quilts. Talk show episodes come out twice a month, complemented by virtual stitch-ins and weekly podcasts. Learn more at TheStitchTvShow.com.

I enjoy listening to Lynn and Pam while I'm busy at my machine sewing away.  I had the chance to see both of them at QuiltCon and it was a such a treat to meet them in person.

You can follow Lynn and Pam on their blog , Instagram  and Facebook.

One lucky winner will win a copy of their pattern Lucky Star from the Stitch TV Pattern Store. The Lucky Star quilt pattern is a jelly-roll friendly pattern featuring a simple spinning star design set on point with a piano key border. Quilters can choose between a lap, twin, or queen size, and pick a mitered or straight set border to complete the top.  (This will be a pdf-download.)

Now it is your turn to link up - what is your goal for May?  (A goal could be to finish a quilt but it could also be to attach a binding.  Whatever it takes to help you move forward and make progress on your projects!  And as long as the project involves a needle and/or fabric, you can link up!)

Make sure you visit the One Monthly Goal event page for the specific requirements for links and social tags.

And remember, to be eligible for the prize(s) by random drawing you must linkup at both the goal setting and the accomplishment linkup in a given month.   (The One Monthly Goal accomplishment linkup will be available on May 25)

Make sure you add a link to this OMG post so others can follow where you are linking.   Let's make that easy -  just paste this into your post:

Have a wonderful day! Patty
