One Monthly Goal - December Linkup

Time to set your goal for December!  If you are like me, there is at least one more gift on your to make list this month so the hard part might be picking which just one to link up!   Need ideas for special people?  I got  many tutorial including tutorials for bags in support of my Bag It event.  Make a bag as a gift and link up with OMG and at Bag It for many chances to win!

My goal for December is to make a large pillow for my daughter.  I want to use the fabric leftovers from the dorm quilt I made her.  And make some large geese in fabric to match what is on the quilt.  I then want to use a pop of aqua.   This is the current thinking of where I am heading but that is subject to change - which is part of the fun!  (The gray is a placeholder for a collection of low volume fabrics used in the quilt.)

Making this pillow beginning to end is my goal for December.

Make sure you visit the One Monthly Goal event page for the specific requirements for links and social tags.

And remember, to be eligible for the prize(s) by random drawing you must linkup at both the goal setting and the accomplishment linkups.

The accomplishment link up will be available on December 25 at 3 pm est.

Thanks to Fat Quarter Shop for supplying a $25 gift certificate and to Bagmaker Supply for supplying a $20 gift certificate.

There will be two (2) winners this month!

Making a gift for someone who reads your blog - just share a teaser picture of fabric and tell us you are making something special for someone special.  We can all enjoy the surprise!

Now it is your turn to link up - what is your goal for December?

Make sure you add a link to this OMG post so others can follow where you are linking.   Let's make that easy -  just paste this into your post:  Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal.

Have a wonderful day! Patty

  2. Love your plan for the pillow. That seems like a very doable Christmas gift. Time management gets so crazy in December it's hard to commit to much.
