August QAL goals

Are you sewing along with the Splendid Sampler?

I've had an incredibly fun time with this QAL using Christmas themed fabric.  The blocks and the fabric are so very different than any of the others projects I'm working on so they offer a great diversion to my sewing week.

New blocks come out every Thursday and Sunday.  I was staying right on track until these last three weeks which have been filled with family vacation time!

Here are the first 40 blocks -

Splendid Sampler blocks
Splendid Sampler block 1 through 20

Splendid Sampler
Splendid Sampler block 21 through 40
At this point, I am seven blocks behind!  My OMG goal for August is to get caught up and get these blocks done plus the August blocks.  I'll be linking up with OMG here at Red Letter Quilts.

If you are looking for the repeat linky party, check it our here!

Also linking up with Sew Cute Tuesdays, , Freemotion by the River,  Fabric Tuesday's,  WIP Wednesday's,  Let's Bee Social,  and Midweek Makers.

Have a wonderful day! Patty

  1. I say you are doing very well on your blocks. A lot better then I am! Your blocks are wonderful.

  2. Those look fabulous. That is going to make such a great Christmas quilt.

  3. Your blocks are all just splendid ;)! Making them up in Christmas fabrics is genius! Besides your Repeat QAL, I am only participating in one BOM, The Sugar Block Club, and I'm one block behind. This is a very doable goal, but while your catching up, won more blocks will be released! Better get piecing! Good luck! XO

  4. I could have sworn I comment on this post! Glad I checked back to look at your lovely blocks again! They are a great inspiration! Have a happy day, XO

  5. So very inspiring! I love your choice of fabric and colors.

  6. These look wonderful! Great fabric choices for some really fun blocks. Thanks for sharing on Midweek Makers

  7. Love these blocks! This is the kind of catch up that is fun!

  8. Hi Patty, I am finally getting around to visiting the Let's Bee Social links. Your Splendid Sampler blocks are wonderful! They just feel so homey to me. :)

Thanks for visiting Elm Street Quilts. Looking forward to hearing from you!
