After finishing my granny square blanket back in July, I decided to embrace the granny square and make a sweater! To get started on this project, you start like a regular granny square except you make a hexagon - 6 corners instead of 4.
And then you go around and around and around until you get the the sleeve the width you want. And then you make another one!
There have been several false starts and frogging happened. At one point, I ended up with essentially a mobius strip (don't ask). I am busy working on the second side so that it is the same size as the first. I don't know how long I want to sweater to be but I do want long sleeves that taper.
I am loosely following this tutorial to create the sweater. The yarn comes from Purl Soho in the colorway Heirloom White.
