Bees Blocks (August and September)

I am a member of the @unscriptedquiltsbee and have enjoyed the monthly challenges from fellow bee mates.

For August, Emily asked for a block pulling a color palette from a painting of Central Park. You were to pick one colorway for the center and then surround it with another colorway. (above)

For September, Chris asked for basic shapes in highly saturated colors with the inclusion of Kona Pickle. (There is a lot of pickle in these blocks - such a fun color!)

Each month has been a really fun challenge. The blocks for May block are in the upper right, the April block is in the lower left and the March is bottom right. 

Isn't it fun how different they are?
