Happy mail! Two more blocks arrived in the mail this week!
I am a new member of the @unscriptedquiltsbee and it was quite exciting to send out my very first block prompt in June. My prompt was Balance and bee members were sent a color palette and a FQ of Painter's Palette Blackberry for the background.
At this point, I've now got 8 blocks with the final two more expected later this month. These are so fun to take out and play with. I've got a general idea of what I'd like the final layout to be but clearly nothing formal until all the blocks arrive.

See the bee blocks I've made so far - still need to work on the August block.
It's fun to see all the blocks together, and I look forward to seeing them all and how you choose to turn them into a quilt top!
ReplyDeleteHow great to be part of such a group, which no doubt provides monthly inspiration, whether you're giving it or receiving it. I've never seen a quilt with PP blackberry as the background; I like it! You'll have some fun, improv play time when you receive all the blocks. Enjoy the process!
