Stitching away

Sometimes the best kind of project is one that can be finished quickly.

Some fun stitching and framed with scraps from a Kate Spain line from many years ago.

Add some straight line quilting and I have a cute mini!  (Colors in picture below are truer.)

I just love this little bird.  Now this was supposed to be a gift but maybe it will find its way onto the wall in my studio.

You can find the pattern from Aurifil on this post.

Have a wonderful day! Patty

  1. That is just so cute! Wonderful way to use a bit of stitching, and a fast finish!

  2. Super cute, Patty. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Very sweet, Patty. Looks like you stitched through the batting. Was it hard on your hands?

  4. A bit of happy stitching is always a good plan :)

  5. Thank you for sharing the link! Your work has inspired me to at least save the patterns! Your work is so lovely, inspiring and colorful! Thank you so much!

  6. Beautiful! Isn't embroidery relaxing?!

Thanks for visiting Elm Street Quilts. Looking forward to hearing from you!
