Friend Retreat

I just returned from a long weekend quilt retreat. We were in this beautiful retreat center that had a nice sewing area with large design walls, a gourmet kitchen, and plenty of room for everyone! We ate great meals - these ladies can cook! I contributed a loaf of homemade bread and then lots of snacks.


Once that quilt top was assembled, it was time for a glass of wine and tackling little HST. Several of us started working on our guild QAL and it was fun to encourage each other along through the trimming of about 100 1.5" HSTs.


This was my third year of retreating with this group and we've already booked the retreat center for April 2027!

    Oh gosh! What a beautiful home - now a retreat facility. It's beautiful! I'm so glad you had a good time. How many people were in your group? Is your guild QAL an MQG pattern? It's the Singularity quilt pattern, right?
