Scrappy Finish

My scrappy quilt is finished!

This was a fun one and a great way to use up leftover mini-charms and scraps - the more variety, the better! The design is NOT original - I've seen many quilts like this over the years. You can find a tutorial of sorts for the blocks here.

This quilt was such a fun scrap buster and used up plenty of leftover charm squares and smaller scraps. Even the batting was assembled from scraps!

For the quilting, I did a basic meander with a few loops thrown in for fun. This quilt will be donated to my local guild's charity.

Have a wonderful day! Patty

  1. I love that the quilt even used up batting scraps. Congratulations on the finish and I'm sure it will find the perfect forever home through your guild.

  2. Lovely Patty & a fun way to use scraps. I just donated a quilt, all made from both scraps & stash & it feels good to know that I've not bought more fabric. Take care & hugs.

  3. Great finish! I like the pattern and keep meaning to make it, but haven't yet.

Thanks for visiting Elm Street Quilts. Looking forward to hearing from you!
