        • If you don't have a blog and don't use Facebook or Instagram, photos can also be sent via email to elmstreetquilts at gmail dot com.

Only bags that are made and shared during the Elm Street Quilts Bag It 2017 event time period are considered valid entries.   Bags made prior to the event will be disqualified.

For this event, a bag is defined as a container made of fabric that you can put something inside.

Bags must be entered by following the HOW TO ENTER procedures listed above.

A photo with multiple bags will count towards multiple entries as long as you record the number of bags correctly in your entry. The maximum number of bags allowed in one photo is six.  Individual photos of each bag is not required.

A specific bag can be shared multiple times - i.e. can be shared in the Facebook group, on Instagram and on your blog - but can only be entered once into the giveaway.  Duplicate entries will be disqualified.

Valid email address is required.  Winners will have 72 hours to respond an email and accept their prize.  If no response is received, that prize will be awarded to another participant.  (Note, if you expect to be traveling and unable to access your email in the week following December 15, 2017, please contact me ahead of time and we'll make arrangements in case you are a lucky winner.)

For some prizes, winner may be required to pay for postage via paypal to claim the prize.   Winner will have the option to decline the prize if they choose not to pay for postage. (See below.)

Participants who share a photo via the link-up, the Elm Street Quilts Facebook Group, or via email agree through the act of sharing that their shared photo can be posted in future Elm Street Quilts blog post, Instagram share or Facebook post.  Credit will be given to the maker.

Entries submitted via the link-up, via the Elm Street Quilts Facebook Group or via email will be combined into an overall entry pool.  Prizes will be awarded randomly to randomly selected participants.
Winners will be announced via blog post once all prizes are claimed.

Guidelines are subject to change without notice.

Any questions and/or requests for assistance should be sent to:

        Have Fun!

        Why the payment for postage?

Several of the sponsors have mailed the prizes to me directly so I can in turn mail them out to you.  If you are randomly chosen as the winner for that prize, I will notify you of the estimated postage in the same email notifying you of your prize.  If you decline to pay for postage, I'll choose another winner for that prize.  You will not be awarded an alternative prize.

        Make sense?  Appreciate your understanding.

        1. Looking forward to seeing what bags you have for us this year, Patty!

        3. Yes thanks for hosting again - I'm sure it's a TON of work so your efforts and time are very much appreciated, as are the lovely sponsors :) I can't wait to get started - I have several patterns from Sew Sweetness that I haven't attempted yet - this will be the kick in the pants I need to get cracking!

        4. Patty, I can't wait! Thank yo so much again for your time, inspiration, and love of quilting and bag making. You're so appreciated:)

        5. Looking forward to the event! I have one bag pattern chosen in mind already! And what is fantastic is that it coincides perfectly with our girl scout groups meeting up. All little girls need a bag to carry their scouting information and projects in!
