I've used vegan leathe...Such a nice bag, Patty! I've used vegan leather too, to make my favorite wristlet pattern. The leather is nice for stability, but can require a little extra attention when feeding it through the sewing machine. I used tissue paper to keep it feeding under the presser foot. It's great that you can swim daily. I never learned to swim properly when I was a youngster, and only know how to "survive" after taking a Red Cross swimming course when I was in my twenties. I admire those who know how to swim for exercise, as it's such a great way to stay in shape without hurting joints. You'll be heading to the pool in style, carrying that posh bag!
