Snowflakes in September (following my Snowflakes in August post)

Yvonne @ Quilting Jetgirl is hosting a QAL called Snowflake Shimmer.   (Hence the blog post title and a reference to my post last month on the blocks.)

After fussy cutting my squares for the square in a square block, putting together the quilt top went quickly.  I downsized the quilt.  My little squares, for example, were 2 1/2 ''.

Already started quilting this one and can't wait to share the next update!

I'll be linking up my progress here.

If you are new to the blog, please check out yesterday's post kicking off the three month long Elm Street Quilts Bag It event!  Make a bag - any bag, any tutorial, any pattern - and share for a chance to win prizes from great sponsors.  You can enter as many times as you can make bags!

Have a wonderful day! Patty
